Why Locals Love ZUS Coffee - University Tower Espana
Situated at the lively corner of Galicia Street and España Boulevard in Sampaloc, Metro Manila, ZUS Coffee - University Tower Espana stands out as a vibrant coffee destination for students, professionals, and casual coffee lovers alike. This spacious branch of the popular coffee chain offers an inviting atmosphere that balances energy and comfort, perfect for those looking to hang out, recharge, or grab a quick caffeine fix.
What makes ZUS Coffee in University Tower Espana particularly appealing is its reputation for excellent espresso—the best among nearby branches according to discerning local patrons. Whether you're a fan of classic espresso shots or adventurous seasonal beverages, the coffee here impresses with quality and affordability. Customers have raved about specialty drinks like the Lychee Con Nata Fizz and Lychee Frappe, praised for their refreshing, authentic fruit flavors that provide a delightful twist from standard coffee offerings.
The café’s large and airy interior is notably appreciated by visitors, offering ample seating that contrasts with the cramped vibes often found in other café spots around FEU and UST. This generous space creates a cozy haven for groups of friends or solo coffee enthusiasts seeking a brief escape—though it’s worth noting that the atmosphere can get lively and noisy, especially during peak hours, making it less ideal for focused studying.
Ordering is made convenient with ZUS Coffee’s app and Grab pick-up options, which many customers find speed up their experience. Thoughtful touches extend to their takeaway packaging, which is secure and well-designed, reflecting the brand's commitment to quality service. Though wait times can occasionally be longer during busy periods, the overall value – from competitive prices to consistent coffee taste – keeps patrons coming back.
Ultimately, ZUS Coffee - University Tower Espana excels as a social hub and a reliable stop for great espresso and innovative coffee blends. Its welcoming space and down-to-earth pricing invite a diverse crowd to indulge in moments of coffee-driven joy amidst the bustling university district.

I did have Grab pick up and was lucky enough to have seats even though it has a noisy atmosphere. You can’t study here! Their promos and newness to the area makes it a hub for hanging out rather than studying. Coffee was decent and cheap with promos. Waiting time takes long but grab pick up is comparably faster. I like their takeaway packaging because it’s secured.

Out of all the branches near FEU/UST, this branch has the best espresso. Additionally, they have a large space for customers unlike the others.

I visited on Friday around 7am and there are many empty seats. First time ordering coffee here and it's good and the price is affordable. Though I can imagine that the place might get crowded and noisy during peak hours. I suggest visiting during very early in the morning.

I tried their new Lychee Con Nata Fizz and Lychee Frappe, both refreshing and you can taste the real lychee. I like how big and spacious this branch is, no wonder this is more of a cozy space for students around the area.

I could not recommend this café enough. We just love Zus! I even have their app recently installed so that ordering from them is easy thru their pickup system (in-store). I usually opt for their drinks where I can dictate a Double Espresso shot choice with boss beans. Will definitely order again and again!

Food is very good for the price, all the items are fairly affordable for the quality you get. Service was kinda slow though, I ordered though the app to get the vouchers and I waited for a good 30mins or so. It was better the second time I went (waited for 15m). Maybe because it's new and they're still getting used to it. The place was also full and it's hard to find seats initially.

This coffee shop was pretty busy, so it got a bit noisy. What I really lliked in this coffee shop is that customers were practicing CLAYGO. The drinks too were good and not too expensive. We tried the Irish Cream chocolate and the Australian chocolate, and both were delicious!
